Manchester United boss Rangnick proud seeing former signings succeed with Liverpool

Manchester United manager Ralf Rangnick says he's pleased with the achievement Liverpool are getting a charge out of.Rangnick, a close buddy of Jurgen Klopp, worked with Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, Joel Matip, Ibrahima Konate, Naby Keita and Takumi Minamino during his experience as a coach and sporting director at Schalke, RB Leipzig and Red Bull Salzburg.

United face Liverpool at Anfield on Tuesday night with their most outstanding adversaries hoping to keep up with their title challenge subsequent to winning the Carabao Cup and arriving at the FA Cup final and Champions League semi-final.

He said, "I didn't say the amount of impact I possessed on these players yet clearly a major club like Liverpool, perhaps the best club in Europe for the most recent few years, they have six previous former players of our own from Schalke, Hoffenheim, Salzburg or Leipzig so it's presumably the largest number of players that no one knew until we marked them or gave them their introductions.

"This clearly must do with a comparative thought of football and Jurgen (Klopp) and me have known one another for quite a while. I know how he needs to play and having six players from previous clubs of mine as I said is clearly not an incident.""
