“Players Drinking And Smoking Comment Is Damaging” - Former Accra Hearts Of Oak Striker Reveals

Following the public pronouncements of Accra Hearts of Oak board member Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe, lots of people have been reacting towards the revelation. Former Accra Hearts of Oak prolific striker Prince Tagoe, affectionately called Prince of goals believes those words of Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe are damaging. To him, it is was wrong for Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe to make public internal happenings of the club. 

“It is damaging. For a board member to bring this issue out is wrong. If there is a situation in a club a member should not bring it out.” Prince Tagoe made these remarks on Angel TV. 

He is calling for an internal rearrangement to steer the affairs of the club. He sees the game to have moved from the ordinary to another level. 

“The management should sit up and do reshuffle. The game has evolved.”

Prince Tagoe recounted how players were treated during their playing days. The captain back then was always in constant deliberations with team officials to seek the welfare of players. Other management members ensured the betterment of players.

“During our time salary issues was not brought out. Our captain back then Amankwaa Mireku will hold a meeting with them. I was getting bonus from Randy Abbey to make sure I score. Yes this is what was happening during our time.” 

Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe stormed the headlines yesterday after revealing that some players of Accra Hearts of Oak smoked and drunk before matches last season. He went further to downplay trophies won by coach Samuel Boadu, indicating that he lost control of the dressing room. The vociferous board member does not want coach Samuel Boadu to lead them into this year’s CAF Confederation Cup.
