Barring any injury, the former Nkoranza Warriors striker is on the bring of earning a Black Stars call-up.
Diawisie Taylor ( Karela United)
His blistering form at Karela United has been recognized by the head coach of the senior national team. His positioning and ability to read defenders is giving him the slot in Black Stars. His number of goals may not go in the drain as his name has popped up on C. K. Akonnor’s list. What is left for him is to stay consistent with his form.
Razak Abalora ( Asante Kotoko)
The goalkeeper may earn a call-up into Black Stars any time soon. His displays in the goal post has gathered momentum on the local scene. He continues to keep clean sheet for his club and better his chances of improved offer. He is on the monitoring list and is in contention for a position in the national team.
Gladson Awako ( Great Olympics)
Arguably the best player in the league, is in line to earn a Black Stars call-up. He defied all odds and tags to take the league by storm.
Set pieces expert, many call him, is winning the heart of Black Stars head coach.
He did not allow his age to sway him, and kept rallying his colleagues to win games for Accra Great Olympics. His goal against Accra Hearts of Oak in the Ga Manste Derby has given him a huge endorsement by the coach.
Only injury, probably, can ruin his chances.
Justice Blay ( Medeama Sporting Club)
The defensive midfielder is also under intense consideration. He is wooing the head coach with his ability to marshal the midfield, surge forward when necessary, track back to assume defensive duties and score goals when the chances avail themselves.
He is on the call-up radar.
