The 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League (GPL) season was at its climax in Matchday 33. Matchday 33 games was of very much interest to most Ghanaian football loving fans. The Matchday didn't fail to deliver it's surprises.
Expectations were high for the Phobians to score Liberty Professionals in order to clinch their 21st GPL title but the team could secure only a draw in the game. This however did not prevent the Phobians from securing the league title.
On the contrary, Asante Kotoko failed to win its away game to Bechem United at Bechem. The Kumasi based club have also played very well in the competition but they would have to come back next season for the title.
King Faisal also managed to still be in the league after the team's emphatic 2:0 win over Ebusua Dwarfs. This now puts King Faisal at the 13th position.
