Nigeria won the first game of Group match having
all 3 points from Egypt and currently stays at the top leading the group. Kelechi Iheanacho who plays as a forward for Premier League club Leicester City fired a shot that went inside and gave them a 1-0 win at the end.
Their more recent scorelines show that quality has been evident in Nigeria’s defense. They have have kept it tight, resulting in the total number of goals that have flown into the back of their net during their past 6 matches stands at only 3.
Sudan drew the first match against Guinea Bissau with no goals to spare. They were lucky enough that Ali Abdallah Abu-Eshrein pulled off a wonderful save to deny Pele’s penalty. That match ended with 3 yellow cards resulting in a stalemate.
Sudan recently took an exit from FIFA Arab World Cup after losing 2 games against Lebanon and Egypt. They also lost to Ethiopia by 2-3 at a Friendly International closing off last year. A draw against Zimbabwe was also seen on early this year at another international Friendlies.
