The Ghana Black Stars beat the odds to record an impressive 2-0 win over European counterparts, Switzerland.
Goals from Mohammed Salisu and Antoine Semenyo were enough to hand the win to the Black Stars of Ghana.
Although the game started on a stalemate with both teams finding it difficult to advance to the 18 yard box of the opposition half, it was the Black Stars that pounced on a loose header to head in to the lead in the second half.
Substitute Kamaldeen Sulemana also produced an electric performance after being introduced in the second half in the build up to the second goal for Ghana.
The Black Stars will now travel to Qatar for the World Cup and will keep preparations ongoing for the classical encounter against Portugal.
Ghana will face Portugal on November 24 before facing Uruguay and South Korea. It is believed that this performance will boost the morale in the Black Stars camp ahead of the world cup.
