Some board members of Asante Kotoko, management members and head coach Prosper Ogum are set for a crunch meeting today to determine the way forward for the club’s technical department. The meeting will find a solution to the impasse between head coach Prosper Ogum and the club.
Reports indicate that management of Asante Kotoko want to settle two months arrears of the coach’s salary instead of three months, but that has been rejected by the head coach and his representatives.
In today’s meeting, all parties are expected to come into consensus and consider the future of the club. The idea to pay two months arrears instead of three will be discussed at length and an agreement will be reached.
Aaante Kotoko are preparing for the new season without a head coach as Prosper Ogum is reported have resigned verbally in a virtual meeting. Those reports have been rebuffed by the camp of coach Prosper Ogum.
Asante Kotoko youth team coach Abdulai Gazali has been leading the team in the first phase of the preseason. They are currently in Accra, preparing to depart Ghana for Turkey to continue the second phase of off season activities. They will be playing couple of friendly games before they return home.
