Barcelona fans vote for their best player of all-time and it is wowing that Messi isn't at the top

Lionel Andres Messi Cuccittini is arguably the best footballer in the history of football. The Argentine international since making his official debut for the Blaugranes on 16th October 2004 against Espanyol has scored over 600 plus goals for Barcelona and has won 33 titles for the Blaugranes. Lionel Messi in his 30's is still pulling the magic on the pitch for Barcelona.

The 33-year-old has won a record six Ballon d'or and with six record European Golden Shoe. Barcelona fans and even football loving fans believes Lionel Messi is the best player to be in the Culers jersey. The Argentine is the all-time goalscorer for Barcelona but some Barcelona fans believes he is not the best player of all-time for the Blaugranes.

It is so surprising that when Barcelona fans were made to vote for their best player of all-time, Lionel Messi wasn't at the top. The Argentine forward was beaten during the voting by former Barcelona midfielder Hristo Stoichkov. Hristo Stoichkov polled about 14,000 votes to Lionel Messi's 5,260 votes during the voting although it hasn't come to an end.

Hristo Stoichkov although was one of the best players at his time but I think he can't be compared to Lionel Messi. Hristo Stoichkov helped Barcelona to win the La Liga title from 1991 to 1994. He also helped Barcelona to win the European cup in 1992? So do you also believe Hristo Stoichkov is better than Lionel Messi?
