In football, field discipline is regarded as a code of conduct that both the players and the referee agree upon. In some cases, some players are caught up with indiscipline and the referees has to enforce the law.
There have been series of indiscipline going on at AFCON from both the referees and players, so today the CAF discipline board met to iron out some of these unfortunate scenes at the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations Cameroon.
And one of the discipline actions taken at the meeting was against Ghana player Benjamin Tetteh who allegedly fought his opponent

"TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations match: Gabon vs Ghana
On 13 January 2022, Gabon played Ghana at Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium in Yaounde. Cameroon. The match officials indicated in their report that at the final whistle, Ghana player Benjamin Tetteh allegedly assaulted a Gabonese player.
CAF Disciplinary Board decided to:
To suspend player Ghana player Benjamin Tetteh for one additional game match in addition to his automatic suspension of two matches. Consequently, the player has been suspended for three matches."
