Ghana Black Stars team has been underated by many people in recent years. Their recent performance has been lackadaisical. Ghana put up an abismal performance at the 2021 AFCON in Cameroon. They were eliminated in the group stages. They were also eliminated in the round of sixteen in Gabon during the 2019 AFCON. Regardless this poor outcomes from the team, they have managed to qualify for the FIFA world cup.
This article will be more emphasize on why I think Ghana can surprise the world in Qatar.
Ghana played the last qualify game with Nigeria. Before the game, many people thought Ghana will loose due to the fact that Nigeria's team look good on paper than Ghana. Coach Otto Addo had a game plan and it worked. This means the tactical coach can help the team very well in Qatar.
Away from the fact that the coach is good, let's consider the quality squad Ghana can send to the world cup.
Recently, Inaki Williams disclosed he has switched Nationality from Spain to Ghana in order to play for the Black Stars. Inaki Williams is a very physical striker who look strong on the ball. His speed and pace is very incredible. His goal scoring ability is a top class one. He can be a very good assert in the world cup.
Again, players like Tariq Lamptey who play for Brighton, Salisu Mohammed who play for Southampton and many quality players are eligible to play for Ghana.
Also, players like Cullum Hudson Odoi, Eddie Nketiah and Nico Williams are all quality players who can be available for the team before the world cup starts.
Ghana already have quality players on board so when this players come to join the team, they can be dangerous in the world cup. With coach Otto Addo's tactical mind, Ghana will flourish in the world cup.
Here is Ghana's possible lineup in the world cup.
Many people think this line up is weak but believe me it could be the most scary line up in FIFA world cup history.
Comment your ideas too.
