UEFA Champions League

He just can't stop scoring. Barcelona fans happy with the red-hot form of their new talisman, Depay.

It was another smooth ride for the Netherlands at the Johan Cruyff Arena today as they walloped Turkey by 6 goals with a solitary response from the crescent stars. The heavy defeat for Turkey became clear a minute after the blast of the whistle by Daniel Orsato, after Netherland midfielder, Davy Klassen opened the scoring a minute into the game. It was followed by another sumptuous goal from Barcelona new talisman, Memphis Depay, 14 minutes later to make it two 2-0. The Dutch forward went on to striker again in the 38th minute to put the match beyond Turkey's reach, but were not done yet.

Depay returned in the second half to terrorize the unsettled Trukish defence again, banging another goal in the 54 minutes. Guus Til's and Donyell Malen left it late in the 80 minute and 90th minutes respectively before Cengiz Ünder pulled one back to make the scoreline 6-1 in favour of the Oranje. The praises and compliments continue to shower on Depay after his amazing heroics today but Barcelona fans tend to be the happiest after seeing their new trailblazer in such red-hot form.

Depay's hattrick today makes it 5 goals in the last 3 games for the Netherlands, clearly taking off from where he left off at the club side. The 27 year old has been on a fantastic form with his new cub, Barcelona, where he has registered 2 goals after 3 games for the Catalan giants and the fans are hoping he maintains his unerring form to keep Barcelona's head above the water after losing their longtime lucky piece, Lionel Messi.

Meanwhile with Barcelona weekend clash against Sevilla postponed, Barcelona players can have some long rest and prepare for their UEFA Champions League clash against Bayern Munich next week Tuesday. Barcelona fans would be expecting Depay to continue with his fine form where they will host the German giants at Camp Nou.
