The Ghana Football Association, has once been joined in the affairs of Hearts to bring their line up before matches. But there have been some disagreement in the way and manner, at which the teams line up are always disregarded by the status committee.
It could be either the entire committee are not keeping their records well. This is very bad on the side of the Ghana Football Association. The last match Hearts played against Bechem United where Hafiz Konkoni got injured, Hearts of Oak decided to seal the midfield of Hearts.
But the fact remains that, the GFA status committee decided to frustrate them by not allowing Benjamin Afutu to come from the bench to play as a substitute.
In the recent Mantse derby, between Hearts and Olympics. Caleb Amankwah was part of the team and was about to be introduced in the match but the committee didn't allow the player to come on.
But a reliable source also came out that, the board members of Hearts of Oak are the people behind the substitution of Coach Samuel Boadu and not the committee.
A member on the board is influencing the coach of the side (Hearts), to fix their players in matches for them to be known. Caleb Amankwah was supposed to come off as Emmanuel Nettey came out, but Patrick Razak rather came on to waste opportunities out there.
It might either be the influence of the board more than the committee of the association. Togbe Afede XIV, needs to step into action and get things right to get the team closer and closer to the trophy this season.
