BREAKING: Ghana drawn in Group H alongside Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea, all you need to know.

The draw for 2022 FIFA World Cup took place today at 19:00 local time in Doha, Qatar. In this tournament 32 teams are to play, however, only 29 teams have been confirmed. The two intercontinental playoff match is set to taken place in June, meanwhile, in Europe one of Wales, Scotland or Ukraine will have a slot at the tournament.

The spot for Ghana in the tournament is set to be in Group H, together with Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea.

Ghana Black Stars seems to be in quite a tough group. Why?

First of all, Uruguay is a formal champion, and one of the very skillful team of all time. Uruguay are also known to painfully knock out Black Stars in 2010 championship in South Africa in a penalty to reach semi-final.

Once again, Portugal have one of the world known skilful and powerful player, Christiano Ronaldo. And Ghana is to have the first match of Group H schedule to take face Portugal.

Secondly, history of football shows that Ghana lost to Portugal in their last match in 2014 with a score of 2-1.

Ghana Black Stars first game is with Portugal before South Korea and subsequently Uruguay.
