Huge blow to Black Stars as two key players have withdrawn from the Squad.

There has been some sad news from the camp of the Black Stars as they arrived in Cape Cost for their upcoming World Cup qualifier against Ethiopia on Friday.

Ghana Football Association issued a statement that Brentford City winger Tarique Fosu has been excused from the squad in order for him to sort his future with the Club. There are rumors that he is expected to leave Club on this summer transfer window. Fosu who helped Brentford City qualified to the English Premier League has not even made a Premier bench for the opening three (3) games.

Another player who has been ruled out is Slovakia bases Benson Annan for the two World Cup Qualifiers after picking up an injury during a league match this weekend. Thomas Partey was earlier ruled out before the team reported to camp.

The Black Stars Coach, C.K Akonnor has invited Accra Hearts of Oak defender Fatawu Mohammed and Accra Great Olympics hit man Samuel Ashie Quaye to replace the injured dou.

The Black Stars will play Ethiopia on Friday the Cape Cost Sports Stadium before playing South Africa in days time.
