The authorities in charge of sports in this country seems not have learnt their lessons from previous experiences. I don't know what is happening to sports in this country. We were even lucky that we were told what to do yet we ate sitting unconcerned. It has come to the fore that the permission given to Ghana to host the crucial world cup qualifier in Kumasi was just for a single match. This was so because all the necessary works CAF expected the football association to do on the stadium has not been done.

We have qualification for the 2023 African Cup coming up in a few months. What that means is that we won't be able to hold any home matches in Ghana because we currently don't have any international standard stadium in the country. We might be forced to go and play our home matches on a neutral venue if we don't do the needful before the qualifiers start. Why should we wait to this end before we take action? Why don't we want to see the development of sports in this country? Posterity will judge us all.
