Kanote not ready to speak on Liverpool move as he is focused on the Euros and his club

The woes of Liverpool has been evident for all this season following the loss of Van Dijk to injury the entire liver defense has been frail through out the season.

This has been worsened even further following the loss Joe Gomez to injury.

The defending champions has lost the fight in the defense of their crown and are now hoping to secure a spot for next seasons champions league which looks even more difficult than Winning the premier league.

Jurgen Klopp is looking to find alternative solutions to the teams current problem.

This led to the acquisition of Ozan Kabak from Schalke 04 with an option to buy.

This has improved the numbers but the quality remains to be seen.

Trying to find solutions, Just Klopp is keen to acquire the service of the Leverkusen defender Ibrahim Kanote.

There have been lots of rumors surrounding the defender and Liverpool.

The player has however played the rumor down and stated that he is focused on the Euros under 21 and his club football at Leverkusen.

The defender has made no error in his last 15 outing for Leipzig leading to a shot on target.

Ibrahim Kanote will therefore be an important addition if the deal sealed.

His arrival will add depth to the teams frail defense.

Ibrahim Kanote has won 64.7%o of his ground duels in nine Bundes Liga appearance this season.

He has completed 83.5% of his attempted pass this season, injuries have have however reduced his appearance for Leipzig.

Can he replace injured Van Djik?

Liverpool currently sits 7th on the league table with the hope of qualifying for champions league football.

They resume action action on Saturday as they travel to Arsenal.

A champions league hope will have to be emphasized on in this fixture else it could end up to be a wild goose chase.

Competing with Chelsea,West Ham and Everton for the top 4 finish looks impossible as these teams won't relent either.

But I strongly believe Liverpool will still finish in top 4 position.

What are your opinion on where Liverpool will finish this season?
