According to the media station, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, identified as a British Billionaire, wants to buy Manchester United. Since it was a sports-related news item, there was an expectation of reactions from sports enthusiasts, especially fans of Manchester United.
Interestingly, many Ghanaians who reacted to the story were not happy about TV3 using its platform to post such a story as they expected to know about the new developments relating to the Ghanaian economy.
In fact, some Ghanaians went to the extent of asking TV3 Ghana about what they should do with the news of the purchase of a foreign team. Other Ghanaians also gave interesting remarks to show how they were not interested in what the media station had posted.
