Hearts of Oak Legend Sends a Strong Warning to Club Fans For WAC Clash

Hearts of legend, Mohammed Polo has warned the club’s followers to manage their expectations ahead the CAF Champions League clash today.

Hearts of Oak will play as guests of Morocco giants, Wydad Athletic Club in the reverse fixture of the second preliminary 2021/22 CAF Champions League clash at the Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca. Hearts of Oak are going into the game hanging on to a slim 1-0 advantage from the first leg at the Accra Sports Stadium last Sunday.

Isaac Mensah scored for the Phobians after he was set up with a beautiful assist by mercurial midfielder, Salifu Ibrahim from the left side of the field with 41 minutes played in the first half. The goal remained what separated both sides going into the first half with Phobians aiming to score more in the second half of the game. Goals were however not registered by both sides in the second half leaving the sole strike by Isaac Mensah for Hearts of Oak as the only goal of the game.

Moving into the second leg, both Hearts of Oak and Wydad Athletic Club will look to upset each other but the Moroccan club has the home advantage against the Phobians but the Phobians will not let in goals that easily.
