Ghana Premier League club Dreams FC recorded their second win in the ongoing betPawa Premier with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Kotoku Royals on Saturday.
Also this afternoon, Accra Lions posted their first win of the 2022/22 league campaign with a hard fought 2-1 victory over Karela United in Accra.
These Matchday Two fixtures, were keenly contested on the field of play by all four clubs with the rest of the Matchday Two acton coming off this worked.
Accra Lions, took a 2-0 lead in the first half of their clash with Karela United, and, they held on well for the win after a late rally by the visiting club.
This was a great reward for Accra Lions after their opening day defeat to Kotoku Royals last Sunday in Cape Coast.
Accra Lions will look to build on this result going forward, for the reminder of the campaign as they look to improve on their performance of last season.
Dreams FC, have won their opening two games of the new season, and they are looking a sure bet to finish in the top-four at the end of the campaign.
