Accra Hearts of Oak have been dealt huge blow ahead of their week 20 clash on Sunday.
The defending league champions will be guests of two time champions, Aduana FC at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park on Sunday. Hearts of Oak go into the game on the backdrop of a 2-1 victory over West Africa Football Academy at the Accra Sports Stadium in week 19. Striker Kojo Obeng Junior scored the opener for the Phobians just at the beginning of the second half before Derrick Antwi Mensah pulled level for the Academy Boys on the 53rd minute.
Diminutive winger, Patrick Razak was introduced into the game where he earned a penalty for the 21 time league champions. Former Black Stars midfielder and 2010 UEFA Champions League winner, Sulley Muntari made no mistake in scoring for the Phobians on the 80th minute. The goal was the debut for the former Liberty Professionals midfielder since he joined the Phobians as a free agent until the end of the season. Sulley Muntari will not be part of the squad that will play Aduana FC in week 20 at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park on Sunday due to a knock he picked against WAFA.
The news however is that, the club’s top scorer, Kofi Kordzi has been left out of the squad for the trip to Dormaa. His absence could be a blow to coach Samuel Boadu as he seeks to win another game to help him on 32 points.
