The 25-year-old has hit the ground running at the Phobians since joining them from relegated Ebusua Dwarfs on a 3-year deal. He has earned four games under his belt with two MVPs that came in his last two games against Real Asante Kotoko and Legon Cities FC in Accra and El Wak Stadium respectively. He made his debut in a 1-0 loss to Great Olympics before featuring against Real Tamale United and he has attributed his performance to team work.
“I will say it’s the effort of the whole team, collectively we are all helping ourselves. “We are all playing well so I will still give credit to the whole team as well,” Dennis Korsah told StarTimes. Asked about fans’ call for his Black Stars invitation, Korsah says such calls should make him work harder to achieve that feat. “Hearing those comments though makes you feel good but then they are the ones watching from outside.
“We can’t judge ourselves and then if they are saying it then I think it’s just an opportunity for me to continue working hard, to keep my head up and then just keep on doing the right thing.” Dennis Korsah added. Korsah has served as a perfect replacement for Congolese defender, Raddy Ovouka who has joined US club New Mexico. Hearts of Oak lie 7th on the league table with 26 points from 18 games and will clash with rivals, Asante Kotoko in the 2022 President Cup in Accra on Friday.
