Ghana and the entire Hearts fraternity are shocked to hear some news coming from the players camp to prevent him from finalising his deal with Hearts.
The management of Benjamin Afutu took to social media by misinterpreting of the earlier contract. Afutu has been one of the calm players at the camp of Accra Hearts of Oak but have been misled by his management team around him.
It took the competent leader for Hearts of Oak board to handle his case with a lot of promises and good offer for the player to still play for the Continental club masters.
It is gradually changing colours from Gladson Awako’s camp for the player to make a U-turn to join the players to Africa in their next match. But the willing player has been denied by his camp to stop playing for Hearts.
Moreover, one funny thing is that, the supporters of Hearts has spotted Afutu training in Hearts jerseys and have send a word of caution to the player to bring back or stop wearing the jersey to train. All else they will do it by force.
It was clear that his Majesty, Togbe Afede XIV finalised with Afutu and expect him to join the team today at the training grounds but things have turn upside down once again from his camp.
The task at Hearts is not even that difficult because it look bright since it is yet to be confirmed that if Accra Hearts of Oak will get an automatic walkover in their next fixture with WAC of Morocco in the CAF Champions League.
Hearts will go in this match with a lot of hopes with their recovering players from injury and some controversial players brouhaha.
Not mentioning doubtful Benjamin Afutu Kotey, but reliable Kojo Obeng Junior, Nurudeen Aziz and Gladson Awako.
