Frank Boateng joins Medeama Sc from Ashanti Gold

Former Ashanti Gold Goalkeeper Frank Boateng has completed his dream to Medeama Sporting Club in the transfer window.

The 26 year old shot-stopper penned a three year contract with the miners ahead of the resumption of the season.

The budding custodian who has been the first choice goalkeeper for AshantiGold for the past three seasons has left the club after refusing a contract renewal earlier this month.

He made 14 appearances for AshantiGold SC last season before the campaign was halted due to the coronavirus outbreak.

He kept 10 clean sheets and conceded 9 goals in the 14 matches.

Boateng joined Shafiu Mumuni, Latif Anabila, James Akaminko and Mubarik Yussif who have all left the club.

The Obuasi based club will represent Ghana in the Confederation Cup following the cancellation of the 2019/20 Premier League.

The 2020/21 Confederations cup is scheduled to commence on the 20th of November this year.
