Accra Hearts of Oak and Black Stars midfielder Sulley Ali Muntari has revealed tonight that he is going to extend his stay at the capital-based club as his contract runs out. According to the former Inter Milan midfielder, he signed a half a year contract with Accra Hearts of Oak but will be part of the club as he will renew his contract.
" I signed six months contract with Hearts of Oak and I will renew to be part of the team for Africa.” Sulley Muntari told GTV Sports + a while ago.
Following his stay with Accra Hearts of Oak, Sulley Ali Muntari won President Cup as his first silverware with the Phobians. He went further to win FA Cup with Accra Hearts of Oak, beating Bechem United in the finals at the Baba Yara Stadium.
After the FA Cup triumph, Accra Hearts of Oak will be playing in CAF Confederation Cup as Ghanaian representative. They intend to make amends as compared to their abysmal displays last year.
Sulley Ali Muntari’s pronouncement will go a long way to assure Accra Hearts of Oak of his commitment and future plans. Several reports have in recent weeks linked Sulley Ali Muntari to host of foreign clubs. These reports and many others will be put to rest with his plans and the official announcement to be made when he puts pen to paper.
