
Accra Hearts of Oak are set to face Malian side Real De Bamako in the second preliminary round of the CAF Confederations Cup. This comes after Hearts of Oak were given a pass in the first stage of the tournament for being one of the top sides in the tournament.
Real De Bamako is also a big club and a well respected club in Mali. The club beat AS Douanes 3-1 on penalties in the first round of the CAF Confederations cup.
The Match between Accra Hearts of Oak and Real De Bamako is scheduled tp be played on the 9th of October and the 16th of October. Hearts of Oak will have the privilege of playing the second fixture at their home grounds in Accra.
Hearts of Oak failed to make the group stages of the same tournament last season after they were thrashed by the North African side, JS Saoura. It is hoped that they can make the group stages this season.
