Erickson led Chelsea to the Continental League Cup title for the first time in our history last season. Thanks to the youngest winner from Bethany,England, the Blues secured a 2-1 win over Arsenal.
Emma Hayes' team is only one game away from this season's final and Erickson is on her way to the title.
She said:We are really excited and this is a game we really like to play.We had a tough fight against Manchester City in the quarter-finals and I think all eyes are now on the final and defending our trophy.
I think it's a statement for us and everyone that we are a team that wants to be there, win trophies and win everything we fight for.I think it sends a message to everyone, but also to ourselves, that we want to be the best team in England. We know it will be difficult, but that is our goal.
In the way Erickson and her Blues team-mates progressed to the final,London rivals West Ham and Erickson will not underestimate tonight's rivals.
Shee added:West Ham are better than their position in the league at the moment. We played them in December and it was a tough game which ended 3-2.They are always difficult to play, they are very physical and they have very good players.
Especially because it's a cup match, they will give them everything they have. That's why I respect them a lot and we have to be ready."
Erickson spoke to the media ahead of our semi-final draw about how Blues boss Hayes fueled a winning mentality and hunger for more Chelsea titles.
Emma is always looking for new levels, said Erickson. She's never happy just winning or just playing well. She always wants us to reach new levels in our game and encourages each other every day.
She expects us to appear in everything we do. She wants to create that mentality to win and I think she did a really good job creating it in the team.In everything we do,we want to win and be the best.
You can watch today's semi-final against West Ham, which starts at 17.00, live in FA Player.
