Breaking: Hearts of Oak’s Key Midfielder to Miss Asante Kotoko Clash

Accra Hearts of Oak have been dealt a huge blow ahead of their week 24 clash against Asante Kotoko.

The Phobians are guests of their rivals at the Baba Yara Stadium Stadium on Sunday, April 10. The clash is the third this season after their first round clash posted a goalless draw at the Accra Sports Stadium. Their second clash was in the 2022 President’s Cup at the same venue where the Phobians reigned supreme with a 2-1 victory to lift the trophy. Both sides go into the game with slim victories from week 23 with Hearts piping Medeama 1-0 in Accra and Kotoko recording same score line against city rivals, King Faisal at the Baba Yara Stadium last weekend.

Hearts of Oak coach, Samuel Boadu knows what is t stake and wants to prepare his charges for the big encounter. “We shall prepare very well and take a cue from the Medeama game. “We were down a bit but we need to come up. “So with the Kotoko game, it’s about preparation, we shall prepare.

Hearts of Oak will however be without key player, Salifu Ibrahim who was injured in the game against Medeama at the Accra Sports Stadium.
