Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim has extended his contract at the club for a further two years the club has announced.
Danlad, had a few weeks to the end of his current deal before agreeing to stay at the Garden City club.
He put pen-to-paper on a new deal on Tuesday with the new contract set to end in 2024.
The goalie, was a key influencer in Asante Kotoko's run to the Ghana Premier League, GPL title last season after taking over the no.1 position following the departure of Razak Abalora to Moldova midway through the campaign.
Danlad Ibrahim will look to build on this performance going into the next campaign that is scheduled to kick-off in September.
He will however face competition for a starting role from two new comer's following the arrival of Frederick Asare and Moise Pouaty during this transfer window.
The goalie is also the no.1 for Ghana's locally based national team, the Black Galaxies who are a qualifier away against Nigeria from making it to the CHAN tournament in Algeria next year.
