Hardworking board member of premier league side Accra Hearts of Oak Alhaji Akambi has reveal Afriyie Barnieh is close to sign contract extension with the Phobians.
The high rated player has been very phenomenal for the phobians since joining them two seasons ago
However, Barnieh had a months contract left with the Phobians which has been a big worried to the Phobians supporters as they believed he might leave after December.
Alhaji Akambi a board member of the club has assured the club teaming supporters if Afriyie Barnieh extending his contract with the club.
” We have been talking with him and his agent for contract extension and the feedback is positive” he said.
” I am very sure Afriyie Barnieh will extend his contract with the club because we’re close to find agreement” he told Kumasi base Wontumi TV.
Afriyie Barnieh currently is with the national team the Black Stars of Ghana and will miss Sunday El classico game at the Baba Yara Sports Staduim.
