It was difficult to attain 70 percent possession from their encounter between Wonders and Chelsea

Eleven Wonders began the game on a strong foot by piling pressure on Asante Kotoko in the early stages, but Kotoko had Felix Annan to thank for not conceding an early goal. The Techiman side were denied a fine opportunity to take the lead on 23rd minutes when Yusif Mubarik blocked a Tetteh Nortey goal-bound shot from 15 yards.

Kotoko is the team team representing Ghana in CAF Champions League and need to get things right from the onset. Assessing the performance of the Reds in an interview with, Coach Ebenezer Sefah said, the team was tactically poor. “I don't know what the technical team of Kotoko told the players but from the game I watched, I could see that Eleven wonders Coach knew the Kotoko team very well that is why they were tactically better than Kotoko,” the renowned scout noted.

Emmanuel Keyekeh broke the deadlock for the visiting Porcupine Warriors in the 15th minute but Emmanuel Clottey's effort in stoppage time ensured the sharing of the spoils in the matchweek two tie at the Golden City Park in Berekum.
