Thomas Partey has been very instrumental in the qualification of the Black Stars to the world cup. He was the one who scored that decisive away goal in Abuja to hand us the qualification ticket. Many have argued that he has not been his best for the national team as he has done for his club sides. He mostly struggles when playing for the national team. But when it mattered most he delivered and sent us to the world cup.
It hasn't been all rosy for him in London as he has had to battle with injuries. But for the past few weeks, he has been playing his best football in an Arsenal shirt. It was going on well for him until injury struck again in the game against Crystal Palace on Monday. There are speculations that he might not be able to play again this season. But I'm sure he will recover in time for the world cup. He is a very important player for Ghana. We can't afford to miss his services.
