If you are a keen follower of the Spanish La Liga, you probably have observed that Spanish giants, Real Madrid’s matches seem to be played in a smaller stadium than we are used to. Throughout the season, be it in the Champions’ League or La Liga, it has been observed that the team plays in a different, much smaller stadium. Many who have made this observation are often not too sure of what they see is right.
Well the observation is perfectly right. Los Blancos, as they are affectionately called have moved to a different facility to host all their matches just as was observed recently in the El Classico against arc rivals, Barcelona.
(Santiago Bernabeu–Old Outlook)
The reason for the change in venue is because the football club is embarking on a multi million upgrade of the old venue.
The rehabilitation would ensure that the facility gets the most modern of features including the ability to have the roof covered,
new architectural outlook and technological superiority. One thing which is for sure is that the stadium will compete among the most beautiful, if not the most beautiful in the world.
