Elmina Sharks will be out to end the unbeaten away form of Asante Kotoko when they host the Porcupines tomorrow.
The home side would be inspired to end Kotoko's away record in the ongoing campaign as the first round of the season ends this weekend.
Newly appointment interim coach for the club, Nii Odartey Lamptey takes charge of his first game, and, the former Ghana international will want to start on a good note with a win.
He comes up against his former club in this fixture as Sharks look for their fourth win of the season.
They have 20 points from the 16 matches they have played, and, will want to end the first round on a high.
A win for the home side could lift them to the eighth position from their present 13 with all of the second round of the season still to come.
In Kotoko however, they will come up against a side that is on form as they chase a record extending 24th GPL title.
The Porcupines who have two matches in hand, holds the best defensive record in the ongoing campaign with only six goals conceded in the 14 games they have played.
They go in search of their seventh win of the season against a side that is very formidable at home.
Sharks, will be inspired as Kotoko comes to town, and, the Porcupines may have to go the extra mile if they hope to keep their unbeaten form on the road intact.
