“Former Black Stars Midfielder Speaks For The First Time After Debut”

Former Black Stars midfielder, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu made his debut for Great Olympics in their defeat against Bechem United in Accra yesterday.

Badu played a part in Olympics 5-4 penalty shootouts loss to Bechem United in their opening GHALCA Top Six competition.

The game ended goalless with the Hunters qualifying for the next round after the penalty shootouts.

Badu has previously played for Berekum Arsenal and Asante Kotoko in the Ghana League as well as Udinese and Hellas Verona in the Italian Serie A.

His last club was Quindao fc in the Chinese Super League before and joining Great Olympics for one season.

“The second option to play in the Ghana Premier League, I’m a footballer.

“The most important thing is, we need to be here to help the league to get the attention it needs.

“And to help the young guys who are coming so that they can get this kind of experience.” Agyemang Badu told Radio Gold Sports.
