High flying AC Milan been put to the sword by Losc Lille at the San Siro in the Uefa Europa league.

AC Milan has been in a sensational form from last season through to this season. They were yet to lose a match prior to the game against French side Lille in the uefa Europa league.

They were put to the sword and downgraded by the young French side. Stefano Pioli has received praises from fans for the good work he has been doing so far. This results comes as a shock considering the kind of form the Italian giants finds themselves in.

The likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and most of the first team players started the match but a brilliant Lille side was not to be denied. A hat trick from Yusuf Yacizi condemned AC Milan and Stefano Pioli to their first ever defeat in the ongoing season.

Pioli and his men needs to put this defeat behind them and comeback stronger in their next Serie A game against Hellas Verona. This kind of results do happens and the most important thing is to bounce back stronger in the next game to restore the lost confidence.

Pioli still has a lead in the Serie A to maintain and this lose cannot take nothing away from their brilliance so far in this season.
