Joseph Esso hits hat trick rescues a point for USM Algiers in the Algerian premier league.

Former Hearts of Oak and Dreams Fc striker Joseph Esso was on fire in the last round of matches in the Algerian top flight league.

Joseph Esso's team hosted Hussein Day on the final day. It rained goals. It was an eight goal thriller of which either team scoring four apiece.

Joseph Esso scored two goals from open play in the sixth and seventy first minute and did score one from the spot in the twenty first minute. His third goal was enough to rescue a point for his team who were on the verge of losing their final home game in the Algerian league.

This takes the total goal tally for the Ghanaian striker to seven in eighteen games and puts his team in the seventh position on the league log.

It has so far been a good half season for Esso. Hopefully he can replicate his form come next season and he can make it into the final squad of the Ghana Black Stars to the upcoming African Cup of Nations.
