Hearts of Oak finally signs long term transfer target Salifu Ibrahim

Ghana's Premier football club, Accra Hearts of Oak have finally been able to secure the services of Salifu Ibrahim after months of negotiations.

The Phobians have signed the former Techiman XI Wonders player on a three-year deal and hopes he adds quality to their frontline..

Salifu Ibrahim, won five man-of-the-match awards in the ongoing Ghana Premier League, (GPL) with his former employees and, he would be expected to translate that form to the Phobians.

The signing of the winger will be welcome news to the Hearts of Oak faithful who are eager to see their club end their long wait for a major silverware.

Hearts' last success on the local scene was in winning the GPL title in the season of 2008-09.

Salifu Ibrahim would be expected to bring his best game to the fore as the Phobians seek to end that drought in the ongoing campaign.

The Phobians have 23 points from 15, matches and, plays their arch rivals Asante Kotoko this afternoon in an outstanding game at the Accra Sports Stadium.

A win, will take them to within two points of the leaders Karela United with most of the season still to come.
