Stop Bullying Baby Jet and Give Him His Respect-Fans Cry Out

Asamoah Gyan a.k.a Baby Jet is arguably the best striker to have ever represented Ghana. He is the all-time leading scorer of the great football nation. But his legendary status has been put in countless disrepute by Ghanaians who still harbor a grudge they developed after his penalty miss against Uruguay in the 2010 world cup which was held in South Africa.

Gyan has been a target for bullies ever since he missed that penalty. Unfortunately, social media has always made it easy for these bullies to have their way with Gyan. His name is always associated with any misfortune that occurs and these are orchestrated by these same people. An example is when one attributed the recent robberies to Gyan's penalty miss.

To win back the love of the people and wade off these bullies, Gyan has undertaken several projects to give back to the community. The building of astroturf, boreholes, and also the creation of several job opportunities are just of few of what he has been doing.

Sadly these efforts have been to no avail. His haters continue to hate and the memory of that penalty miss continues to overshadow his legacy. But there seems to be a glimpse of hope after one of his rare achievements that have been overlooked for years popped up yesterday.

Asamoah Gyan is the first player in football history to have scored in nine consecutive international tournaments. A feat Cristiano Ronaldo Equaled on the 16th of June,2021. The Twitter post by squakwa football sent fans of Gyan into a frenzy. They, therefore, demanded an end to all the unnecessary bullying and the accordance of great respect to the Baby Jet.
