Ex-Dutch Player to Replace Otto Addo as Black Stars Coach

The Black Stars of Ghana might soon get a new coach following the exit of Otto Addo whose contract expired after six months.

The Black Stars made their fourth FIFA World Cup appearance in Qatar after their maiden show in the 2006 editygeld in Germany.

Their second appearance at the World Cup was worthwhile after improving on their first appearance from Germany.

The Black Stars qualified for the quarter finals, joining the likes of Cameroon and Senegal as the only countries to reach that stage.

That record has since been achieved by North African side, Morocco after they eliminated Spain via the penalty shootouts in Qatar.

The Black Stars do not have a coach at the moment following Otto Addo’s exit but news has it that ex-Dutch international of Ghanaian parentage, George Boateng will be given the job. The Black Stars exited the tournament with just three points after losing to Portugal and Uruguay before winning against South Korea.
