Manchester United's manager, Ole Gunner Solskjaer has come under a lot of pressure following his club's poor run of results and performances, having only two wins in their last seven matches. Having made three huge signings in the summer, the Norwegian manager is very much expected to bring long-awaited success to the English giants.
Gary Neville, a former Manchester United player has been very critical of the club's recent performances stating that immense pressure is now on the United's manager. "Immense pressure will be applied to Ole and the group. Which is all well and good. Need to take care of business this mid-year and a decent beginning to next season is required severely!"
Rout in the last to Villarreal, which came after David de Gea saw his spot-kick saved by Geronimo Rulli after all of the outfield players shockingly scored their punishment endeavors, implies Solskjaer is still without a prize as United manager.
Manchester United have a tough run of games ahead with Leicester, Atalanta, and Liverpool all in the mix. A poor run of results in these fixtures could be very damaging to the club's season and Ole Gunner's future as Manchester United manager.
