Technical Director of Dreams FC, Karim Zito, has stated Accra Hearts of Oak will have themselves to blame for poor performance this season in CAF InterClub competitions this season due to last season’s experience in Africa.
Coach Zito, believes Hearts of Oak’s technical handlers and players must prepare themselves adequately to meet expectations in Africa.
“Both the coach and some of the players have tasted it when they qualified it last year”, he noted.
“When we talk about experience. Experience is what you’ve done before and you are going back to do it”.
“It means they have to come back, sit and then look at the problems and cause of what they they did and they didn’t succeed. And then change, and do rectification here”.
“If it is the preparation, anytime you play the league and you qualify.
It means your level of the game has risen to a certain level. When you’re preparing for that game, it should be higher than what do here”.
Hearts of Oak will awaits the outcome of AS Douane versus Bamako game to determine their first game in the CAF Confederations cup competition this season.
