The 2021/2022 Ghanaian Premier League is about two weeks away to be started and Clubs are eagerly making preparations for the 66th season. The league will take off on the 29th of October, 2021 and just last night five great players were transferred from their clubs to other top clubs in the league.
All these transfers that were made last night was revealed by Ghanaian sports journalist Saddick Adams on his social media platform. Clubs such as the Premier League's defending champions, Accra Hearts of Oak, Asante Kotoko, Aduana Stars and the likes were part of the clubs that made these sales.
Below are the five transfers that are believed to have occurred last night.
Emmanuel Gyamfi's move from Kotoko to Aduana Stars FC
Former Captain and winger of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Emmanuel Gyamfi made a move from the Porcupine Warriors to Aduana Stars FC.
This move to Aduana Stars comes as a shock to many fans of the club, because the winger was actually doing great with Asante Kotoko.
Kwame Adom Frimpong signs with Aduana Stars FC
Also his colleague former playmate at Asante Kotoko, Kwame Adom Frimpong has also signed for Aduana Stars FC.
The popular and good midfielder signed a two years contract for Aduana Stars FC.
Ishau Abu "Busquet" has signed for Accra Hearts of Oak.
Ghanaian and former Berekum Chelsea midfielder, Ishau Abu has moved from his former club to the current and defending champions of the Ghana Premier League.
He was one of the good passers in the just ended league with Berekum Chelsea.
Takyi Welbeck is a former player of Bofoakwa Tano football club. He has also signed a two years contract with Aduana Stars FC.
He is sort after by several premier league clubs but fortunately for Aduana Stars FC they got him to agree with the terms.
Stephen Amankona Has also moved from Berekum Chelsea to Asante Kotoko.
The 21 year old striker who was the top scorer of his former club has signed with Asante Kotoko.
