Ashantigold forward, Yaw Annor, has been ranked 7th on the Federation of International Football Association(FIFA)'s chart of players with the most goals since the start of 2022.
Paris Saint Germain forward, Kylian Mbappe was ranked 1st with 27 goals this year, he was followed by his France International team Karim Benzema who ranked 2nd with 25 goals after a successful campaign with his club side Real Madrid.
Bayern Munich and Polish international, Robert Lewandoski was ranked 3rd after netting a total of number of 22 goals, Brazilian international Tiago Azuläo also recorded 22 goals alongside Argentina’s German Canó. These three players were all ranked 3rd since they had the exact number of goals.
Senegalese international was ranked 6th on the table after scoring 21 goals for his former side Liverpool.
Brazilian legend Hulk, Ghana’s Yaw Annor, and France international Christopher Nkunku were all ranked 7th after they all scored 20 goals in 2022.
Pablo Sarabia, Ben Yedder, Kojo Laba and Anderson Talisca were all ranked 10th with 19 goals.
The 25-year-old Yaw Annor clinched the Ghana Premier League goal king award in a scintillating fashion after he hit a brace to surpass Kotoko's Franck Eouga Mbella on the final day.
However, Yaw Annor’s brace on the last match day was not captured in FIFA’s ranking.
