Daniel Amartey Arrives In Ghana For 2021-22 World Cup Qualifiers

Daniel Amartey is a successful defender for the England team Leicester City. He has arrived at Black Stars camp for Friday's world cup qualifiers against Ethiopia.

The 26 year featured for Leicester City's in their 2-1 win over Norwich City in the Premier League on Saturday. He showed a great performance also on the pitch.

Amartey together with four other players, Jordan Ayew (Crystal Palace), Tariq Fosu Henry (Brentford), Baba Abdul Rahman (Reading Fc), Andrew Yiadom (Reading Fc) will not be anlble to play in Ghana second game against South Africa due to Covid 19 pandemic.

South Africa is currently on the red list of the United Kingdom that is players traveling back to the club will have to be quarantined up to 10 days which have prevent most Premier League clubs from releasing their players.

Ghana will play against Ethiopia on Friday September 4th at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium and travel to South Africa for the second game on Monday 6th September.
