The Ghana Premier League began on a good note for some coaches. Whiles others are at the helm, some coaches had to part way with their clubs in the course of the season. Currently, some coaches could easily face the sack in their clubs, if results do not change in their club.
Coaches such as Maxwel Konadu and Nii Odoom started the league with Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak respectively, but did not see the end of the league.
On the other hand, Coaches such as Augustine Evans Addotey of Karela United, Kwaku Danso of Bechem United and Paa Kwesi Fabin of Aduana Stars are enjoying a stay in the Ghana Premier League.
Some coaches are going through strenuous moments and could easily make way for another coach to take over. They either turn things in their favor or have their stint cut short.
Milovan Cirkovic (AshantiGold)
AshantiGold were performed when the Serbian tactician took over. Even though he could not supervise their preseason, he was able to grind result for the club in previous matches. They became known for their free scoring abilities and delectable play. They dispatched opponents with ease, to the point of piling goal in their net. But in recent games, they are losing track of what they used to be known for.
In their last game at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium, they lost to Liberty Professionals, surprisingly. A team that was competing for the top spot is now located in the middle part of the table. In their next game, they trek to West African Football Academy, WAFA. If WAFA unleash any dumbfounding results on AshantiGold, they may be the last match to be played by Milovan Cirkovic.
Kosta Papic ( Accra Hearts Of Oak)
Things have turned sour for Accra Hearts of Oak in few games. They have gone four matches without a victory, that is, against Berekum Chelsea, Accra Great Olympics, Medeama and Legon Cities.
As reported earlier, Kosta Papic could be shown the exit if he loses to Asante Kotoko. His inability to find an antidote to the current happenings makes his future grim as head coach. His continuous stay will largely depend on how swift he is to bring the team back on winning ways.
Nana Andy Sinason ( King Faisal)
In all fairness, coach Nana Andy Sinason did not start the season wit King Faisal. It was even reported, he accepted to lead King Faisal based on few matches and could leave anything he decides to.
Even though he beat Berekum Chelsea in the Bono Derby, he could not make it two wins against Accra Great Olympics at the Accra Sports Stadium.
With the way things are going, he may leave by mutual agreement if results do not go in the way of King Faisal.
