Former Black Stars coach, Charles Akonnor has opened up the performance of Kotoko and Hearts of Oak ahead of their continental campaign.

Akonnor has managed both sides in his career and he believes Ghanaians are asking too much from the two clubs.
“This is what you get this season, I mean we don’t have any. What are you looking for?
“You feel they are not giving you the best, this is what you get in this generation.
“I mean, they have improved in n the way we play tactically, I’ve seen a couple of matches from both teams and it’s not bad but maybe you are asking for too much.” CK Akonnor told Radio Gold Sports.
Asante Kotoko won last season’s Ghana Premier League - the first time in eight seasons.
The Porcupine Warriors will represent Ghana at the CAF Champions League.
Kotoko’s rivals, Hearts of Oak will play in the CAF Confederation Cup having won the FA Cup title last season.
The Phobians defeated Bechem United 2-1 to win the FA Cup - a record 12th time.
