Asante Kotoko go in search of a 7th win in the GPL as they host Bechem United on Thursday night

Fresh from their elimination from the African campaign at the hands of Algerian side ES Setif last Sunday, Kumasi Asante Kotoko returns to domestic action on Thursday.

The Porcupines will host Bechem United at the Accra Sports Stadium in an evening game that kicks off at 6:00pm.

Kotoko will go in search of a seventh win of the 2020-21 campaign as they seek a record extending 24th Ghana Premier League, (GPL) title.

The game with Bechem United tomorrow, is a GPL Matchday 16 fixture and, it will be the second game of the day after Dreams FC have hosted AshantiGold SC at Dawu in the afternoon.

Kotoko has 23 points from the 13 matches they have played, and are five points behind the leaders Karela United and will have two games in hand after tomorrow's meeting with the Hunters.

They will fancy their chances of getting all three points against a Bechem United side that conceded six goals to Hearts of Oak on their last visit to the capital.

Kotoko holds the best defensive record in the league so far with just six goals conceded and, they will be the obvious favourites to collect the three points as they host a Bechem United side that has let in 20 goals so far from the 15 matches they have played.

A win for the Porcupines, will also serve as a confidence booster ahead of their upcoming outstanding game with Hearts of Oak on Sunday.
