Accra hearts of Oak have climbed to the Top of the Ghana Premier League table after defeating eleven wonders by one goal to Nil this afternoon at the Ohene Ameyaw sport stadium in Techiman.

Playing the first match of this week 26th matches, Accra hearts of oak had their destiny in their hands, and they did justice to that…

Coach Boadu's men for the job were Goalkeeper Richard Attah, captain Fatau Mohammed, Raddy Ovouka, Addo Sowah, Caleb Amankwa, Mohammed Alhassan, Afutu kotey , Emmanuel Nettey, Salifu Ibrahim, Kwadwo Obeng and Isaac Mensah..

The Phobians held onto the lead till the 90 minutes was over. Hearts could have scored more goals if striker Isaac mensah and Kojo Obeng Jnr had been more purposeful up front.

This week's league fixtures as been termed as 'GBADAMOSHI' meaning "him wey build house na him Dem dey call landlord", Accra Hearts of Oak as taken over the Top spot from their bitterest rival Kumasi Asante kotoko, who are scheduled to play against WAFA later this afternoon at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.

Will Asante kotoko take back the top spot or will the Phobians hold onto the top spot, only time will tell.

If Kumasi Asante kotoko should even manage a draw against WAFA then it means the Phobians are holding onto the top spot for the coming week.

Will this week's 'GBADAMOSHI' have any effect on the rest of the league matches coming up today and tomorrow?
