Blackstars winger Kamaldeen Sulemana has been shortlisted for the CAF young player award which is going to be held in Rabat, Morocco.

The forward is going to contend with Dango Ouattara of Burkina Faso and Lorient, Karim Konate of Cote d’Ivoire and ASEC/RB Salzburg, Pape Matar Sarr of Senegal and Metz, Hannibal Mejbri of Tunisia and Manchester United.
Kamaldeen Sulemana joined the French outfit Stade Rennes from FC Nordsjaelland, a club based in Denmark for a fee of 20 million Euros. He scored 4 goals in 38 matches for the French outfit last season. He has been impressive since joining the French outfit and as a result been recognized by CAF for an award.

He debuted for the Blackstars in a game against Ethiopia in a world cup qualifier from which Ghana qualified for the playoffs. He also played in the AFCON that was held in Cameron.
The award is going to be held on 21 July 2021.
