Across the globe, the 2020/2021 season of major leagues has come to an end but the Ghana Premier League (GPL) is still in action. The GPL has become more entertaining and interesting to watch and follow because teams are indeed seen fighting for the various spots on the league table.
The performance of most of the teams has improved over recent weeks. This has rewarded the teams with very vital points in matches played to move up on the league table
The last game of Matchday 28 was played yesterday. The game saw Legon Cities add to the woes of Inter Allies as Legon Cities won the game by a lone goal. Inter Allies are still at the bottom of the table. There is only 6 games left to be played by all teams.
The GPL table prior to Match day 28 has yet changed again after the Matchday 28. After the draw against Great Olympics, Accra Hearts of Oak is now on level points with rivals, Kumasi Asante Kotoko. Both teams would like to add the season's trophy to their silverware.
The positions of teams such as Medeama, Great Olympics, Ashanti Gold, Karela United and many others have all changed after Match day 28.
Teams would be looking forward to obtaining maximum points in six remaining games in the league.
